984 Woodycrest Ave is located in the Highbridge section of the Bronx and was formerly two parcels of land comprised of 1- 2 family house and a parking lot. The property is ideally located within walking distance of the iconic Yankee Stadium, the Hip Hop Museum and Gateway Mall, Bronx Supreme Court and Borough Hall.
Project Overview
The development provides 48 units of affordable rental housing for Military Veterans with community and program space located on the first floor of the 7-story state of the art building. The building which was designed by UAI Architect has been recognized for its innovated design by several architectural publications. This project is a joint venture partnership with HELP USA.
Project Financing
Total development cost for the project was $16,000,000 with financing from HPD, 9% LIHTC, HOME Funds, LIHTC Investment provided by Raymond James Financial.
